MUSIC - THE POWERFUL MEDICINE

Music is the language of soul. Where words end, music begins. We do love music, dont we? I think everyone would agree with that. Everyone wants to listen music in their spare time to get enjoyment and relief their mind. Although words are very effective, but music can touch our hert deep inside more powerfully than words. It stir our emotions and our imagination and makes our body move. We all have experienced this. We have even seen music used as a learning tool. However, the question arsises, is it possible that music can be used as a medicine effectively. Can it really be a healing method of certain illnesses? Well, the answer is yes. Indeed, music can heal people in various situations.Listening slow sound music gives us relief and peace and makes us healthy. Music is also very effective in curing the mental and emotional problems of human beings.



Music is a great stress reliever. It could uplift the mood of elderly people suffering from depression. When it comes to depression its better to listen to an inspiring music rather than sad songs which could make you feel worse. There's abundant evidence that listening to music at work can make you happier. Office workers allowed to listen to your preferred choice of music complete tasks more quickly and come up with better ideas than those who have no control over their musical choices. Backgroud music improves accuracy and enables the completion of repetitive tasks more efficiently.



It also decrease the anxiety before, during and after surgical procedures. Music enriches our senses and evokes communication. It is a much physical experience as a psychological one, as much feeling as sensing. So whenever you find yourself in a gloomy mood, instead of venting just grab your ipod, plug in your earphones and switch on your favourite music. Get carried away by the musical wave and you will feel relaxed and happy in an instant.



Music is a form of melody that soothes into our body making us feel refreshed and relaxed of all the anxiety and stress we face in everyday life. It is not just a part of an entertainment, it is a great way of healing our pains, making us forget about everything and takes us into the world of melody which gives us the most beautiful feel in the entire world.  Music therapy accomplishes several problems or emotions we face in our daily life, that the doctors cant do, It is such a wonderful. Music helps to get our brain functioning quicker, and whatever we do after that, for definite will be a success. Whatever problem we may have by listening to the prescribed music, it just flows out from our brain, and we it out, which helps the doctor or psychologist to identify the problem we are going through.



Therefore, I would like to conclude my topic by saying that music is an effective way of healing our stress etc, Whoever it may be an old man or a young girl.
